Our client , the creative and digital services division of a global company, partners with global organizations across industries to deliver marketing, design, and technology solutions. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance & Accounting Manager to take ownership of our financial operations, compliance obligations, and reporting requirements. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced agency environment and is passionate about accuracy, compliance, and driving financial performance.


Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Taxation

  • Manage all statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and other applicable government taxes.

  • Monitor updates in company law, direct and indirect tax regulations, and ensure timely implementation within company processes.

  • Coordinate with external consultants for PF, Client, and other labor-related compliance filings.

Audit & Controls

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual audits with external auditors.

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely reconciliations of all ledgers.

  • Strengthen internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to company policies.

Financial Operations

  • Oversee salary disbursement, reimbursements, petty cash, vendor payments, and all other company transactions.

  • Support payroll operations from a finance perspective, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with statutory deductions, and timely salary payments.

  • Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and timely processing of expenses.

  • Manage cash flow planning to maintain healthy liquidity for operations.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Prepare and analyze income and expenditure statements, client billing and collection reports, and P&L analysis.

  • Support senior management in annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability.

  • Partner with account management teams to monitor client-level profitability and financial performance.

Reporting & MIS

  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for management.

  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and dashboards as required by leadership.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with external partners (auditors, tax consultants, banks) and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Act as the single point of contact for all finance-related queries


Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) preferred.

  • Experience: 4–7 years of experience managing end-to-end finance operations, preferably in a creative agency, professional services firm, or mid-sized organization.

  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, payroll compliance, and statutory requirements.

  • Proficiency with Zoho Books or similar accounting/ERP software.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Advanced Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).

    • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for data analysis and process automation is a strong plus.
