The Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in NestJS and Node.js to design scalable APIs, optimize backend performance, and integrate systems with databases and external services. This is a hands-on role requiring strong coding, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop scalable APIs using NestJS and Node.js

• Build high-performance, secure, and maintainable backend systems

• Develop and manage API routes and backend architecture

• Design and optimize database structures and queries

• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and external services

• Monitor performance and troubleshoot backend issues

• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs, and security vulnerabilities

• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards

• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

• Maintain technical documentation

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

• 4 years of backend development experience

• Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS

• Experience building APIs (REST, GraphQL, or SQL-based services)

• Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL)

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless architecture

• Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, or authentication systems

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with microservices or event-driven architecture
