About The Job

Our client is looking for a new Head of Business in Kolkata, India.

As the Head of Business (Consultant) – New Business, you will spearhead strategic initiatives to drive new business opportunities, focusing on expanding the client portfolio and enhancing our client’s presence across key markets.

You will be pivotal in crafting and executing business development strategies, working closely with senior leadership to identify and capitalize on growth areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the finance, banking, and insurance sectors.

Strategy Implementation : Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive business growth and align with our client’s mission and values.

Client Engagement: Lead client pitches and presentations, showcasing our client’s cutting-edge solutions, and build strong client relationships.

Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes, which can help inform decision-making.

Campaign Leadership: Oversee the planning and execution of both digital and offline marketing campaigns to promote new business initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including technology, design, and product development to ensure the alignment of business goals.

Reporting & Analytics: Provide detailed reports on business performance, market insights, and opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.

– 7 years of experience in strategic marketing, business development, and brand management, with significant experience in leading business growth initiatives.

– Proven success in managing and executing marketing communications and media strategies.

– Strong experience in the finance, banking, and insurance sectors.

– Expertise in digital and offline marketing, media planning, and campaign management.

– Strong client-facing skills with a proven track record in delivering successful pitches and presentations.

– Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

– MBA in Marketing or related field (preferred).

– Experience in managing key accounts, particularly with Fortune 500 clients.

– Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

– Certifications in Digital Marketing or relevant fields (e.g., Google Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing).
