About the Role

As a Lead Zuora Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end Quote-to-Cash workflows. From complex subscription models to renewals, amendments, and payment integrations, you will take the lead in building automation that streamlines operations and delights stakeholders.


What Makes This Role Extraordinary?

Full Ownership: Architect and implement Zuora solutions from design through deployment, using advanced workflows, ZOQL, and Zuora REST APIs.
Business Impact: Translate complex business challenges into efficient, scalable solutions that directly impact revenue recognition and customer experience.
Cutting-Edge Work: Develop, configure, and maintain Zuora billing revenue platforms using workflows, custom objects, notifications, and invoice templates.
Collaboration: Work closely with on-site teams in Markham and offshore developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Zuora subscription billing and payment solutions
  • Expert knowledge of Zuora APIs, ZOQL, workflows, product catalog, notifications, and invoice templates
  • Hands-on experience designing end-to-end Quote-to-Cash workflows (renewals, amendments, subscriptions)
  • Experience with data migration, callouts, and Zuora object structures
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ, and ERP systems (nice-to-have)
  • Experience with Zuora Revenue or similar revenue recognition tools (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across geographies

Bonus if you have

  • Experience with Zuora Revenue and revenue recognition processes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ, and ERP systems.
  • Understanding of finance, accounting, and order-to-cash processes.
  • Knowledge of Zuora order metrics and subscription analytics.
  • Zuora Certification
