The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a Senior API Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that integrate with the Fineos Claims Management system. You’ll enable seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners, working with NestJS (TypeScript) on high-impact insurance technology projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop scalable APIs using NestJS (TypeScript)

• Lead Fineos Claims API integrations

• Work with API gateways (APIM, KONG) for secure API management

• Develop and maintain RESTful services and third-party integrations

• Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and QA engineers

• Ensure high standards of data security, especially handling PII

• Implement automated QA and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

• Contribute to architectural decisions within an Agile SDLC

What You Bring:

3 years in API development using NestJS / TypeScript

Strong expertise in Fineos Claims API integration and data model

Experience with REST API design, security, and performance optimization

Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, Comprehend)

Experience with API gateways (APIM, KONG)

Understanding of insurance domain workflows

Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points:

• Experience with SAP, CPAY, FileNet, and CoFax integrations

• Exposure to AI technologies (GitHub Copilot)
