This role is part of a growing in-house global Clarify CRM engineering team that manages Amdocs Clarify systems.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Clarify CRM Solutions Engineer with proven expertise in ClearBasic programming for Amdocs Clarify CRM v12. You will work directly with a small onshore team while collaborating with and providing technical oversight to the offshore development team in Bangalore, India. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building features, supporting enterprise-grade CRM operations, and ensuring system stability. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand process requirements and independently design effective solutions.

You will:

  • Design, develop, and implement new features and functionality for the Amdocs Clarify CRM v12 system using ClearBasic.

  • Fully manage and maintain Amdocs Clarify systems in collaboration with the global team.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance applications without altering the base Clarify CRM itself.

  • Support business-critical operations across multiple regions and time zones.

  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members.

Key Responsibilities

System Maintenance & Feature Development

  • Maintain Clarify CRM v12 legacy systems with ClearBasic scripting.

  • Design and implement new features aligned with business needs.

  • Perform regular maintenance, including bug fixes, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure stability and reliability.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve data inconsistencies, and optimize performance.

  • Participate in all phases of the automation lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and providing post-deployment support and enhancements.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with business analysts and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to document process flows, create Process Design Documents (PDDs), and translate them into Solution Design Documents (SDDs).

  • Collaborate with the offshore development team in Bangalore, India, providing clear guidance and technical oversight.

  • Work with onshore stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all new and updated code, fixes, enhancements, and best practices for future scalability.

  • Provide knowledge transfer to future hires as the team grows.

SDLC & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.

  • Strong understanding and application of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

Team & Growth Contribution

  • Partner with senior engineers and managers to help scale an offshore Clarify/Amdocs engineering team.

  • Share input on process improvements and system modernization strategies.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 5 years of experience in software development, with a significant portion dedicated to Amdocs Clarify CRM v12.

  • Highly proficient in ClearBasic programming with hands-on expertise.

  • Proven experience working in a large-scale, enterprise environment.

  • Good knowledge of database structures, SQL, and CRM integrations.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Clarify-based applications.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with internal stakeholders, business analysts, and the offshore team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A proven track record of successfully delivering complex CRM projects.

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of driving projects forward with minimal supervision.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with Amdocs environments.

  • Exposure to enterprise CRM workflows and automation.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms or CRM migration strategies.

  • Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to team members.
