This is QA that goes far beyond testing screens. Own quality end-to-end across data, cloud, APIs, and customer journeys on a complex, enterprise-scale platform.

About the opportunity

Our client is a leading North American software engineering and technology consulting firm (offices in Toronto and India) that builds modern software, cloud platforms, and API-driven integrations for enterprise clients. As a Great Place to Work Certified company, people are their priority.

You’ll join a specific, high-impact project: an automated customer-communications platform that manages collections journeys sending customers a sequence of past-due notices (first, second, final), pulling data from Salesforce, and tracking delivery outcomes. It runs on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, NestJS services and APIs, and data pipelines on Azure.

What you’ll do

• Own the QA strategy and build automated tests (Playwright or similar) across data, APIs, pipelines, and SFMC journeys.

• Validate data pipelines, deduplication, and segmentation logic feeding Salesforce and SFMC.

• Test NestJS services and REST / asynchronous API integrations end-to-end.

• Certify trigger-based journeys (first/second / final notices), personalization, and email deliverability.

• Work alongside the developers as the go-to quality person on the project.

What you’ll bring

• Deep, hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud must-have Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, APIs (the engine, not just front-end email).

• NestJS (Node.js / TypeScript) must-have

• Test automation with Playwright (or Selenium / Cypress), plus strong SQL and API / data-pipeline testing.

• A QA Engineer mindset a coder who automates, not a manual tester.

• Azure a plus (learnable; any major cloud is fine), a degree from a strong university, and excellent communication.

• 2–3 years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is enough depth matters more than years.
