WordPress Developer

HouR Client is seeking a talented and passionate WordPress Developer with PHP with 2 to 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, WordPress, Laravel, Docker, and MySQL.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including WordPress theme and plugin development, and e-commerce solutions, while delivering high-quality web solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design, product management, and development teams to create responsive, interactive, and user-friendly interfaces for various devices.

• Develop and implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.

• Ensure seamless integration of third-party RESTful APIs (JSON) into existing applications.

• Optimize and maintain e-commerce platforms, including payment gateways, shopping carts, and SEO-friendly coding practices.

• Maintain version control using tools like Git and repositories such as GitHub, ensuring best practices for code management.

Technical Skills:

• PHP Expertise: Excellent knowledge of PHP (7.x/8.x) with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and web server exploits with solutions.

• WordPress Development: Hands-on experience creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.

• Database Management: Strong experience with SQL, MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.

• Block Development: Knowledge of block theme development, block creation, and full-site editing.

• Other Back-End Development: Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.

• Front-End Development: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

• Debugging: Comfortable using debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome Inspector.

• Docker Knowledge: Familiarity with containerization using Docker for development and deployment.

• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or MongoDB is an advantage.
